Nice work, SHIPDUDE. I don't know enough about warships of that timeframe to offer any sort of constructive criticism, though.

Seems a bit plain. Some detailing would be nice. And a less enthusiastic shading on the funnel as well. (Same on the other ships)

HOLY SHIT!!!
The Stonewall Jackson, a genuine Walking Beam sidewheel steamer!
That is a BEAUTIFUL vessel, Shipdude... and the 'cottonclad' work looks great. My only tiny complaint is that the 'beam' looks slightly off-center in the supporting A-frames. You could also, though it might be too difficult at-scale, try to mark the cotton bales with 'C.S.A.'

Just remember, if you do any of the Union 'cottonclads,' You have to mark the bales "C.S.A./U.S.N."
Of course, every good Southron knows what this stands for. ;)

I seriously doubt she was that big. Can you provide some reference on her length?

Yeah, that's what I though: you've used a drawing which might very well be not accurate at all and you've guessed the length.
It's not ShipBucket approach and it pretty much devalues your effort...
