but do you have that image you linked any larger?
Unfortunately, not. It would have been useful for the azimuth thruster detail as well. :x

the bilge keel is slightly curved
ok, I'll alter it. That aerial shot is most helpful. ;)

also, there seems to be an knuckle in front of the lifeboat between hull and structure you seem not to have on your drawing ;)
Yes... I missed that.

and something else interesting I just saw: on at least one ship of the class the boot topping seems extended to show the waterline in submerged position as well :S
A few versions are emerging here (my wife will not happy  )...Also shows a Phalanx on a raised platform on the aft fight deck.

I know some people find these ships to be bland but the same was probably said of the KGV style block superstructure when they first appeared. I think it takes time the drawing-board-feel to wear off.

EDIT: Updated the bilge keel and the knuckle. I can't see the point in adding the weld lines. They're not visible in any pictures I have and I thought the rule was only show what you could see from a distance (or something to that effect)...

cargo door, and I have tried out the welds, and I personally think it looks better, but hey, it is up to you ;)
also, quite a few holes and markings on the hull seem to be missing right now, and I am quite certain the ones on the bow and walkways are open and should thus be outlined in black..... (and the ones on the bow white, because you can see right trough them to the other side)

Lovely work on the door, Ace.

I've updated the drawing with the new door, and outlined the fairleads.

I like the weld lines but I've made them a little less prominent and added an extra one that runs along the length of the hull.

I'm working on the platform that is usually attached to the hull. It seems the ledge is a touch too high so I've lowered it by 3 px.

I'm thinking of adding your name (Ace) to the credit line for all the input you given, but only if you wish it to be there. :-)

Currently working on the prop...

EDIT: Thanks for the excellent links, Philbob. They're a massive help.

I am honoured you want to add my name, but I see no need for it. I have drawn next to nothing for her and what I did would mostly count as parts, while the comments and input are just what I like to do, and I would get a lot of credits if that counted as work done on a drawing :P
