If you want them then by all means, have them. The reason for why I am abandoning them is becasue I have put so much time and effort into them, and that has been completely wasted. The official building plans that he has been telling us about, does not show the complete ship, and is generally hard to interpret becasue of lines that shows different decks, waterline etc. Believe me I am not one that quits easily, but sometimes one must realize that the battle has been lost.

BTW, how is the Saint Louis coming along?
Hello there

Thank you, although I understand your feelings. I have dozens of early drafts which are worse than your Courbet and Bretagne. Well, here she is (according th Breyer the paint scheme was used very late in the war and during the first postwar decade). The underwater hull is yours, just a little recoloured. I'll post the Bretagne in her own thread.

very nice Garlic! just a little remark, you might check the blue colour you used for the portholes because i get the impression that it's a bit darker than the standard one; altough i might be wrong.

Well I did say he would do much better work than I did. Anyway, now I can focus on the La Fayette, De Grasse and of course; Norseland.

Yes, you'll need to change the scuttle colour (if you want to submit it), but a minor quibble on an othewise excellent drawing.

Oops. Don't know where that colour came in. Doesn't even look good.

Better?
