As to the "British" plan the only mention in the 1986/87 Combat Fleets of the World is that the plan to refit "these basically excellent weapons platforms" with "British" equipment fell through, with no mention of specifics, but possible upgrade with Phalanx and other US systems was mentioned (This was, of course, pre-1989). Again, no specifics. It would be fun to play with though....

True yes! Also China wanted to buy two former Essex class carriers Osbanky and Richrame bonne... or something. I still wan to draw that haha.

Hmmm...Alvama, you sure aren't any good with USN-names, right? 8-) :lol: The names are: Oriskany and Bonhomme Richard!
