offcourse they are visible! they are visible in every ship

I would say use this rule of thumb: if would be too small to be visible on the real ship when from afar (so as to appear at Shipbucket scale), then it shouldn't be included in Shipbucket scale. Thus, most hull lines would disappear.

I'm going to "steal" a pic posted by Bombhead reading HMS Tiger:



This is way larger than Shipbucket scale and even here only the absolute largest of the hull panel lines are visible.

I gonna start on my AU variant tonight, have you got anything for the bridge structure already? that is the only part I am going to take over entirely, so.......
