Great Auk Whyme! Theses Work horses are still kicking around in service theses days especially with Armada del Mexico and Philippines Navy. Even the Mexicans have modified some of them with flight decks to operate MBB Bo-105 helicopters.

The Awks were interesting little vessels, and a boon to small navies all over the world--I am planning on a version for Pallamara as their main postwar minesweeping force, which would have served until the 1980s before being replaced by the Landsorts. It wouldn't surprise me to find a couple being used to train reserves.

(engines replaced a couple of times, several refits, etc--lots of work to keep these old vessels running, so good training for crews!)

That Coast Guard version above is begging for an OtO 76mm, and some Harpoons.
