This ship along with four others was discovered by sports divers on the bottom of Roskilde Fjord on Zealand in 1956.
The ships were dated to about 1000 AD
After they'd been salvaged they formed the basis of Roskilde Viking Museum, possibly the number one institution when it comes to Viking ships.
This ship is a Knarr, a type of merchant ship used by the Vikings for trade and transportation in Northern Europe.
