Very nice, and to your usual very high small ship drawing standards.

Good evening:

This is a river gunboat of the second half of the XX century. Peruvian Navy CF-13 Marañon, built by Thornycroft in 1951, she and her sister CF-14 crossed the Atlantic under their own power, in spite of a shallow draught of 7 ft. It is based at Iquitos.

Credits: Darth Panda´s riverine fleet, of course ;) ! Cheers!

PS: The pilothouse atop the superstructure looks odd and the glass looks very plain (not of the armoured type).

Nice though these grey supporting elements between the glass panels of the bridge, instead of standard black look bit odd. ;)
And I think that the hull on the bow should heep one color, without change of the shade above the deck level.
:)

Yes. I agree. But that supports looks in several color photographs in a shining metal finish  ! I will redrawn the gunboat to the SB standarts ;) , also with the pseudo forecastle in a grey two shades darker. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm absolutely impressed by that ship crossing the pond by itself, hopefully didn't go all the way around Cape Horn! Also impressive is that it climbed all the way up to Iquitos, quite a ride!
Adding to the feedback given, you might want to try to use newer life rings like the ones on the latest USN sheet, which are a bit smaller. Hope to see an update soon.

Hi, Chargiozard. Thanks for your feedback!

About the ride in Cape Horn, I saw a pic of one of the original ACh Leander (but I don´t know if it was Condell or Lynch) frigates riding in heavy waters, with all the bow completely out the sea. Impressive.

About the new life ring I have a concern: painted in red (as the old one ) it gives a strange impression, because it looks like a red swastika (with the legs turned to the left), which gives an odd appearance. But I like the small size of the new ones.
