I believe that the guns are supposed to be 5"/25s

The 5"25s were removed in 1944 so if the depiction is after . . . I stand corrected

David, thanks for taking the time to look in detail at the drawing.

I think you're on to something there. I assumed, wrongly, that she had the same armament as Wasp, which I had just completed prior to starting this drawing (what seems likes years ago).

Unless there's a part for this out there... I'll have to have a go it myself.

Well spotted and thanks again. I think this highlights the need for collaboration in drawing the US Carriers.

Ranger looks good. Since you had the scales on the drawing I checked some dimensions. I only see one thing that needs correcting. According to Friedman's US Aircraft Carriers, Ranger had a hull depth of 51 feet. Your drawing has a hull depth of 53.5 feet. Hopefully that won't to difficult to correct.
