Looks really nice Lazer-One! Great job. A couple of things I noticed: - On the last version, the all red version. She was painted red in 1998, maybe change the 1990 date to 2000. - On the 1944 version if you wanted add a vintage helicopter, I attached a nice view of one below. - On the 1972 and 1998...

Hi Lazer One, Thanks! Most of the ships I've drawn are showing the starboard side, bow on the right, basically because most of the shipyard blueprints I obtain are that way. (The exception being the ships that were built by Toledo Shipbuilding, for some reason they drew thier blueprints showing the ...

A slight departure from Great Lakes ships that I normally draw, but it was time to do this project that I have been wanting to do for a few years now. In my family history there was a fleet of 7 wooden schooners built in the town my father grew up, Belliveau Cove, Nova Scotia. Below you see one of t...

Cliffs Victory II never existed or was proposed as a real ship. It was a fanciful design for a model painting contest on Boatnerd held back in 2002-ish. Look at this link and click on "design by Robert York" to see where this originated: http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/special/footer/ and: http://w...

Thank you CanisD! Don't be hard on yourself, you did a very fine job with the Chief. As Dreadnaught111 said, her barge life is over and she has been scrapped, put out of her misery. You are very lucky to have seen her, I never had the chance. She must have been quite a sight back in the day belching...

After about a year and half of on and off again work I finally completed this drawing of the rail ferry Chief Wawatam. Although she changed little over her 70 years of service I've depicted her as she would have looked early in her career. I will be releasing this on my site soon, but here is an ear...
