Of course he wasn't being sarcastic, shipbucket is a simple and accessible style and format and if you want a ship being drawn there's no better option than giving it a try yourself. If you don't appreciate this then I have no better analogy to give you than some rando walking into an art school or...

So darthpanda, are you being a sarcastic. I am not an artist. I was only making a request. If you were being sarcastic than it wasn't appreciated. I come here to enjoy the art work of others more talented and dedicated than I am.

I wish someone would draw the Shinshu Maru. I can't find any descent drawings on the web.
