Dear lord, where did you find that Superboy?

I updated the drawing according to Colombamike's comments (see first post), I actually do want this drawing to be perfect after seeing Superboy's image. I won't add any other details until I can get a better look at those CGI's.

Ah Colombamike, I did not tried to draw exactly the model, but only to give an impression of how it sort-of looks like. I believe MC Spoilt B'stard wanted to draw it. I just want to make a perfect replacement for the M-frigates (instead of this first concept). However interesting to see where they p...

Well here we go..! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76124343/Nieuwe%20schepen/M-frigate%20Replacement.png This design was shown a few weeks ago during TechBase, a Dutch military show and festival. It shows a ship, according to it's designers, of 145m in length and a crew of around 120. The frigat...

I couldn't resist making a downscalled version of the original. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76124343/Nieuwe%20schepen/M-frigateReplacement_basedesigns.png I've taken a lot of the comments into the new one, but I will still start on a completely new version this weekend. She is now also capab...

OK all very good comments guys thanks, as soon as the weekend starts I will start completely from scratch, in it's own topic. Heuhen: That could be correct, I based this design of an old drawing I started modifying months ago, so it is possible this is a lot like your drawing. The only thing that wa...

Hmm I can only comment about the Goalkeepers, they are placed on platforms that reach out of the main superstructure. That way they can cover about 340-350 degrees around the ship. If it deserves an own thread,, I'll leave that for the mods to decide ;)

My take at the M-frigate replacements: I based the design of H.Heusers ships, as they have a very realistic future feeling to it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/76124343/Nieuwe%20schepen/M-frigate%20Replacement.png The ship you see is a combination between the F125, FREMM General Purpose varian...

Those are not CIWS you pointed out Colombamike, but those are Sabre EW systems (http://www.thales7seas.com/html5_beta/product245.html). I believe a Goalkeeper look-a-like is shown on the rear superstructure all the way up. In a whole, the entire model is rather inaccurate. It shows outdated weapons ...

Looks like the design follows the same aspects as the Type 26, FREMM and F125 class frigates. I hope the Netherlands and the UK see certain opportunities to co-develop their frigates as they are scheduled to be commissioned around the same period. About the Harpoons, four seem incorrect. Indeed only...
