The design of aircraft carriers has never been my forte but I like the drawing of that RN "never was' by Portsmouth Bill and Bombhead. Among other things I've lengthened the ship by just over 60 feet, deleted the ski-jump and added catapults and an angled deck - sort of a more modern version of HMS ...

Very impressive work indeed - on both the cruiser and her badge.

Monty I haven't anything against it (in fact it looks very good on your drawing!). Only thing to consider is, would a greek vessel have a badge with latin Well Kim, the Greeks will have to learn to live with Latin phrases. If not, I'll sell the ship to the Turks.  Seriously though, I...

Al, thanks for the heads up on the Bellerophon badge. I had no idea there was a newer version. Yet, I think I'll keep Kim's version. I like it better and he did go through the trouble of drawing it. I'm not sure it'll be used, otherwise. :) eltf177 & Mike, thanks for the comments guys. They are much...

Now, now Colosseum, don't lead the kid astray. Everyone of your Shipbucket drawings, that I've seen, can be easily drawn in Microsoft Paint. And you know as well as I do that no one starts drawing in Photoshop. Timothy C, you don't need a grid either. JSB, when using 'Paint' you can always use the p...

Sorry Al, I don't have a good drawing of Ikoma but I'll keep searching. The three-funnelled Ibuki class were very nice also.

Yet another fine looking aircraft. Rowdy, have you ever drawn a bad looking aircraft? I think not. I especially like the colour scheme of the weapons school version. Funny how you've started your Recherche Ice Hockey League - the markings on my versions of your Galestorm and Monsoon have absolutely ...
