Thanks Rowdy. The turret was inspired by that of my favourite tank - the M 41 Walker Bulldog - and the jerry cans and blast bag came from Darth Panda's drawing of that particular tank. When can we expect to see the Phalanx? NB: the gun elevation was achieved by rotating a copy of the image by 20 deg...

Kim is certainly the master of ship badges. These are downright awesome to say the very least. Well done, Sir.

No problem at all, gentlemen. It's just that I was so glad to receive a quality copy of the colour chips that I felt it would be a bonus to include them in the drawing. But, since the colours are already in the drawing, I have taken your sound advice and removed the chips. All's well.

Point well taken, Colosseum. Image adjusted accordingly and for the better. Thanks for your input, guys.

Here you go - HMS Renown as she appeared early in 1944 with the camo scheme applied before Operation Torch late in 1942 (I think). A very special thanks to all the guys involved in helping me with this drawing.

Thanks so much, guys. You are a tremendous help. Here's what I'm trying to recreate - Renown at Trincomalee in early 1944:

Not finished yet, but I'm getting there.

HMS Renown as she appeared at Trincomalee early in 1944 (still with the camo scheme applied late in 1942). I'm out on a limb here as I'm not exactly sure of the correct colours. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/1581/hy0t.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us Monty
