I know that, single bedstead on batch 1's and batch 2's have double bedstead

But what does the 'AKE' word stand for?

been bugging me for years

Just a quick question,
I'm a instructor with the Sea Cadets and my units affliated ship is HMS Glamorgan D19,

With the type 965 radar, what does AKE stand for in the AKE-1 and AKE-1?

any info much appreciated
