I was to understand a harpoon was a supersonic missile wheras the cruise missiles from a VLS system are subsonic.
Turret A would be the elevated turret? or the forward one.

So in a summery, the azipod needs to be rotated 180' and the bow needs to be raised? Also, how would I go about calculating the ideal beam of the ship using the dimensions listed in the image? I'm gonna go on a limb of Around 20 meters? The Type 45 has a 21.2 meter beam and it's 4 meters longer than...

Ok, So I took the advise of starting from scratch. The second "from scratch" ship I drew, was ugly as sin, and im quite ashamed to post it, but I might just shallow my pride and throw it on later tonight or tomorrow. So a single phased array radar will cover all bases?

Cheers mate. I have done another design, it's based around the Type 45 destroyer but it's leaning more towards a light cruiser or heavy destroyer. It's not quite finished, still gotta add handrails et cetera and perhaps a better surface to surface capability. What sort of radars would it have in add...
