Sorry I'm late to this.

Bonnie's plans list it as a "Sperry Mk.2 MOD.2".

I have access to her full plans* if you need any references.

*Which, unfortunately, I agreed not to scan and post online. And I'm trying to keep my working relationship with CFB Shearwater's archives civil.

Practice was the RCN naval ensign only from ships of war. To be honest, I have been around MARCOM/RCN all my life, with a family history dating back to its founding (Including Grandfathers on all three carriers) and I've only ever seen a handful of pictures of RCN ships flying the blue Ensign, all i...

What radar system is going to track and guide the Standard SAM? I don't see either a SPS-50 or SPS-48 or equivalent 3D-system. I know that the Canadian Tribals are reliant on other allied vessels, such as US Aegis-destroyers/-cruisers or NATO units with the same capabilities or even the carriers th...

Couldn't help myself.

Re-done as a DDG. With other variants (On same hull), to be a DDH and another DDG for SM-1ER.

I'm not sure where you're getting that I am putting NSSM and SM-MR on the same hull. Presuming you mean same hull and not just same hull design. Current type/loads are along the following lines. With all variants carrying the 127mm gun and either one (Or two, not decided, likely one) twin-forty AA g...

Translated some of my deck plan stuff into PS. Six full decks of course. Well, semi-cramped. Colour codes are as follows: - Red: Weapons - Blue: Command/Comms - Green: Accomodations - Yellow: Mess/Supplies/Food storage - Gray: Machinery - Pink: Wet stowage (Fuel?) - Orange: Misc. http://img521.image...

Why SM-1? Early in their service lifes it makes sence, but the moment you start introducing ESSM you might as well throw them overboard. While it's shroter ranged that ER, it can outrun and outrange the MR, weighs a sixth of the ER ESSM is a future expectation, not existing. Simple Sea Sparrows for...

A bit of explination on the logic here. I've kept the bay on the rear hull that is used for the Limbo mortars, but left it as part of a modular system. I think I can give her a strike length mk.41, but she'll need a larger deck house. That VLS is really there to hold sea sparrows only. The ABLs are ...

The hull (Or rather most of the drawing) is not mine. I merely used it as a base. I may swap the colours later. For now, some versions, a few are very unfinished, a few are mostly finished. Did a fair ammount of system weight math and deck space to figure out what I had room to fit. Baseline: http:/...

I left most of the hull stock to Novice's base. So the dark grey lines and that are from there, and should be there. The ship is intended to be designed through the 1950s-1960s, built from the late 1960s on, and upgraded and still soldiering on even now. The express fit I'm looking it will be 1995-2...
