And really short ranged, since they're aiming through the ranging hoods

in your 3rd design of 5 and 2nd design of 2, it seems that if the Z mounting is sited on the centerline, that the funnel is awfully close to the gun mount. besides the issue with interference, don't tell me that that boilers are located on the other side of the magazine bulkhead

Silly 5.5-inch gun question. I like the fact that you are using a gun mount similar to the one used aboard the Yubari. At 50-tons for a pair of 5.5's (according to Campbell), they are half the weight of the Mk.XXI twins aboard the Leanders. If weight was a major issue, wouldn't you prefer the twin-s...

I'm a bit confused about the first set of torpedo tubes in the 1910 refit. Are they supposed to be centerline or are they singles hanging off of the edge? Wouldn't you be better off just creating a recessed torpedo well behind the A-gun mount and the pilothouse? Is there enough room in the X mount? ...
