I did see that, but I'm not sure entirely what that graphic is based on. I had a go using the BAES images and the model closeups from the BAES stand at Euronaval: https://www.navylookout.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/BAE-Systems-Adaptable-Strike-Frigate-Concept-2.jpg https://www.navylookout.com/wp-...

Nice work! the divers lines are a pattern on the hull so she is more recognisable? Divers' lines are basically just to help divers identify underwater parts of the ship easily in poor visibility - they're painted on the hull at regular spacings / depths to help divers find the thing they're looking...

Thanks for the feedback, everybody :) The placement of the underwater equipment should be fairly accurate, I've just found no real references other than extremely basic shape about what they should look like  Since we're on hydrographic ships, I also took the opportunity to completely redo the ...

Attempt 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6cfduux73ibvo9h/HMS%20Scott%20Template%20V3.png?dl=1 I get the rust is a little controversial  I like a ship that looks a bit battered and like it's been doing good work. Anyway, I'm always pretty crap at the shading - hopefully this is a slight improvement....

Hello shippers, I started this a long time ago but ran of out good drawings / photos, but a recent (ish) Save The Royal Navy article inspired me to finish her while I had some free time on my hands. HMS Scott is the RN's large oceanic survey vessel, including integrated squash court, fitted for but ...

I think they look pretty good  Although we're not expanding the scope of the project at all if we always re-draw the same ships, it's always interesting to see different interpretations. My drawings are for personal satisfaction and posted here in case anyone else finds them interesting, but t...
