Minor correction on your gaelige. It's probably a typo anyway.

Miall Noigiallach should be Niall Noigiallach, assuming you're referring to Niall of the Nine Hostages, of course.

Love your AU. Just a small pointer on your use of Irish

Dubhghorm is 'navy' in the sense of the color. 'Dubh', being black and 'gorm' being blue (hence blue black). The correct Irish word for navy is cablach. So it would actually be:

Cablach Ríoga na hÉireann
