This thread has been quiet for several days, so I assume that everyone has had a chance to speak. When will the SB staff make a decision?

One problem which needs to be solved though, provided SB decides to go along with your proposal, is how to disburse the compensation when more than one artist is credited. Would it still be 50/50, I e 50% to SB, and the remainder split 25/25, that is $7.50 per artist, and what would happen if one a...

I have a couple of opinions, but they are much the same (sort of) as others mentioned previously. Some hypotheticals, should SB go down a commercial route... How would prices be negotiated, and who would negotiate them? If SB were go into business selling pixelart, how would violators of copyright ...

A little off topic, but why did anyone think brining a carrier into gun range was a good idea? One of the purposes of the scenario is to allow players to test the concept and see whether it works. The US Navy was actually going to build these things, but in a rare fit of sanity, gave it up. The lin...

Deepest apologies for the confusion. All right, let's try this again. The first version - the draft as it is now: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7614414/Dummy%20BW%20pages/BW%20Draft%20p44_1.pdf The second version, with the Shipbucket drawing: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7614414/Dummy%20BW%20pages/BW%20Draft%2...

All right, I've set up a DropBox account. I'm going to provide the pages both ways, in case one doesn't work. The link to the folder is: http://www.dropbox.com/home/Dummy%20BW%20pages The first page is the existing draft, with an illustration taken from Dr. Friedman's U.S. Cruisers, an Illustrated H...

...yes, I've only "worked" as someone dedicated to a hobby. Not as a commercial artist. I'm not criticizing your status as a hobbyist, but don't look down on something that provides a livelihood and value to many people. The purpose of art is to be seen. Don't you want your drawings, and Shipbucket...

OK, a question: I've created two dummy pages, as .pdfs or .jpgs. I've never posted an graphic, and the editor isn't letting me paste the images into this post.

To me the idea of you making money off our work, whether or not you compensate us, just goes entirely against what we are doing here. Shipbucket has always been a non-monetized collective of ship artists who do this as a hobby, for our own purposes. If our artists want to draw ships for you, that's...

Yes, as evidenced by the use of the word "commercial." Bywater's War, authored by Mr. Bob Eldridge, will be published by Clash of Arms Games of Phoenixvile, PA in the Spring of 2013. It is in draft now. The supplement provides 4 historical campaigns, with a total of 30 scenarios, that can be played ...
