I think your hangar from hull to bottom of flight deck is too low - I count 27 pixels = 13.5 ft. Brit ships are from 15-17ft, US ships have 17-20 ft for hangar height. The actual size of the hangar looks like it would contain about 20-24 aircraft and that might be less from the placement of the funn...

Harpy is a fine drawing - you were just trying to get to much out of the design and not allowing for the time it was built. For the new ship(s) Washington Treaty (if it exists) was 23,000 tons for carriers. If no WT then something in the order of 25-30,000 tons will be a big enough ship to play with...

Actually the Hermes is bigger in size than the Harpy 614x64 (39296) H= 600x70 (42000). Hermes is designed as a carrier yours is a converted Saturn type cruiser. Sorry but the Harpy needs a rethink, too fast for size/weight/hull coefficient (bulges may stop it rolling over but they will knock a lot off your speed). Too many people - overcrowded. This is an AU, you can do what you like. What sort of treaty obligations is Germany under from 1919 onwards, when does the next German Govt throw away the treaty. Use some imagination - what would the ship look like with 9x13.8 in 3x3 layout? Unless you have really good (and I mean REALLY good) fire...
