interesting. 3 prop 4 boiler ship? also, is she designed as training ship or an rebuild destroyer? (this is not entirely clear from the text) Originally a Brazilian destroyer laid down in 1932. Sold to Argentina in 1942 (IIRC). The original design was rather unusual, as it featured a 9x120mm armame...

Richelieu looked better, in my opinion, but I very much adore the all-forward quads, and think the existing ship was as close to battleship perfection as you can get. :)

I really want to work on the American frigates but its quite daunting because I'm pretty new and there aren't many other sb sailing ships to steal parts from. maybe I'll start something next time I'm off and rowdy36 can post on it every day telling me stuff I'm missing or that isn't the right scale...

It looks veeery similar to the drawing I did a year or two ago of a 688 built with Seawolf/Virginia technology.

In this case, though, it was not a refit of an existing boat, but rather a follow-on design with 688 cues.
