Convergent evolution then. I basically combined the refit of Nagato with a Yamato/Mogami funnel design. Pretty obvious way to go so no surprise that others went the same route. I love how the new US battleships incorporate the massive reconstructions in their models. Hopefully they'll go back and do...

No, when I did those drawings back in the 00's I didn't think to put credits on them. They're all over the web now.
