(I've edited my previous post because I linked the wrong pic for the non-skijump example, BTW.) that all depends on what you want it to do. It looks like the Aboukir Bay class serves both as a helicopter carrier and littoral attack boat mothership (launched via cranes, as the well deck is deleted), ...

I prefer the first serie's of design. Better lookout plus flight ops space in the conning tower. Better place for the lift in the deck, seperate hangar's is always better (i quess) She looks cooler. She looks better researched, and the latest series looks like. Do whatever you want, make it CHEAP! ...

I could only find low-res. illustrations of those through-deck Enforcer variants, so I'm not sure......

Do they all have a well deck for launching LCU?
